Has totally refurbished our 1816 leather bound Welsh Bible. Our 200 year old Bible was handled with care and artistic skill. Fabio was even able to add some blank sheets of paper, so that we can continue the tradition of documenting the births and deaths. Will last another 200 years.

During these times of post pandemic and high inflation, businesses appear to be focussing solely upon making a fast buck, in our experience apparently without regard or inability to concentrate on the main ingredient for recovery and success which will always be good customer service. You guys are the exception because your customer service and care is excellent !

I have spent the last 5 years writing my memoirs, over 300 pages which I completed Christmas time 2022. It was extremely important to me that after my expending so much time, joy and tears in composing my memoirs that the publishing and binding of my books should be done professionally, sensitively and at a reasonable price tag. I needed an initial small number of copies quickly to distribute to my family here in the UK and my birthplace abroad which I would be visiting early January 2023.

I searched high and low,mainly on websites in search of a publisher who could meet all my expectations. However, I found that they lacked transparency and sensitivity and at silly,unjustifiable price tags. But then there was you, F.C. Bookbinder…a real godsend.  A local family business, experienced and steeped in the history of traditional, quality printing and book binding at sensible pricing.

From the time we first met just before Christmas and onward you greeted us with open arms,arms, bigbig smiles and with great Italian charm. Although you guys  have many customers including Institutions, Colleges and Universities, you afforded us all the time that was needed, offered sound advice and guidance and were sensitive to my needs and requirements. You quoted a very good price and a deadline for completion which you stuck by with no hidden extras. The result was a batch of high quality, hard bound books with words and original photos printed beautifully in the format which I wanted and on high quality paper. You also completed within the quoted timescale. They brought tears of joy to my eyes.

Well done guys, damn good job. On a personal note, you have made the past 5 years of my life well worth it and I can rest in peace knowing that my family and their future generations will be in possession of my memoirs forever. I recommend you to the highest degree.
